EGC is excited to announce official issuance of our Canadian Patent for “Method and System for Reducing Losses during Electrical Power Distribution” on January 3, 2023. This process has taken over 6 years to achieve and will be in effect for 20 years.
Similar to Patent #1 this Canadian Patent is for Energo Group Canada System and Method employing distribution circuit adaptor (DCA) into a branch supply circuit at a suitable location between substation and loads.
EGC utilises its system analysis methodology that identifies the optimal location in an existing gird to insert one or more DCAs to achieve the most reduction in power losses in that feeder.Implementing this method and system by using pairs of existing trunk conductors we are balancing loads on the primary side of the DCA, and improving voltage on Secondary side of the DCA.
